As tasty of an upgrade as it may be, this article is about Pie’s successor – Android Q or 10. Although, in fact, very little information is known about the tenth version of Android at this stage. 
Android Pie is Google’s most fleshed-out OS yet with many best of features, but we aren’t here to talk about Pie. Android Q is going to be the supreme version in terms of change as compare to its previous versions, and more refined version of Android pie. 
After recent times where Google had compromised with the security features, We can expect some latest security updates with refined privacy policies under android Q. Along with, newly proposed fordable phones (Samsung and Huawei will release their fordable phones on this year), Android Q is going to be supported on those phones also, making itself screen adjustable.

  • Dark Mode

Finally! Since OnePlus spread the concept of an all dark theme on its Oxygen OS few time ago, Users also wants that theme on their android phones. It helps in power efficiency of smartphones, gives a Cool look and also provide soothening to eyes. Stock Android is rumoured to get more system-wide dark mode on Android Q, that will be benefitted to lots of android one users.

  • Foldable phone support

Do you Remember the folding phone at Samsung's Developer Conference in 2018? "We have worked with Google to optimise the android with foldable phones" a Samsung representative said on the day. Google's implementation will be based on natural and smoother animations with transition of apps from portrait mode to tablet mode. As we know Samsung and Huawei will be the first few companies to unveil foldable phones this month.

  • Facial verification

Till now Android phones feature 3D facial recognition for biometric verification, Android doesn't support it by default. That' why Android One devices & its Pixel devices don't support face unlock. With Android Q is bat expected to provide face unlock feature from it beginning, manufacturers won't have to made face unlock systems additionally for devices. Since Google is leading in terms of photography as compare to others, that's why it is expected that, it's face unlock feature will be more secure than others usually installed by developers.

  • Enhanced PiP Mode

Android Q will support PiP Mode natively. If you ever used a Samsung phone, you must be familiar with a feature that can run apps in windows. Users can multitask by running an app in other floating window and change it's size accordingly for convenience, also known as split screen for many users.

  • Secure permissions

From Android 6.0, Google introduced an app permission system to Android. In Android Q, Google will go one step further. We can expect that Android Q is going to offer the option to grant or deny permissions to apps for using clipboard information. This prevent apps to copy any data without user's consent.

  • Downgrading apps

People will get strange feelings after they hear about downgrading apps. Do you ever regretted updating an app that ruins the overall experience? Well, Android Q will bring one extraordinary feature to downgrade apps to the previous version. Presently, users can't downgrade to older versions of any Google app. With this new feature, users can rolled back to their previous versions of Google apps .
