Player Unknown's Battlegrounds aka PUBG, is developed by PUBG Corp., Bluehole, the Company is a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. It is hosted by platforms like Microsoft, Windows, Xbox One, Android and PlayStation 4. In India it has been available since 2007. PUBG has become highly popular in India and other global countries. Tencent Cooperation, worked on the game recently revealed that the game has over 200 million+ downloads globally and approx 30 million daily using players.
In PUBG, a total of 100  players dropped into a battleground, all will have to fight and survive till death and the last player standing will be the winner. So lot to discuss....Lets start reading

Why PUBG is in News?

Recently, 11 year old boy of Maharashtra, India wrote a letter to govt to ban on PUBG. Yes you read it correct, He's just 11 years old. He wrote an 4 page letter said the Online game Player Unknown's Battlegrounds Promote Violence and threat to the country and it should be banned. The Boy didn't get any reply from the Govt till now. He said he will do legal actions if the game is not banned in future. He has decided to file PIL in Bombay High court. 

What actually happened?

Last week, Ahad, 11 years old kid wrote a letter to govt asking for Online Game PUBG mobile to be banned in India. He said it an "appeal" to ban the online game PUBG, as it promotes and violates and aggression.
In his letter he clearly wrote that " It is an appeal to forthwith ban online game Player Unknown's battle ground (PUBG), as it puts immoral conduct such as violence, murder, aggression, looting, gaming addiction and cyber bullying." He also added that, " I will be compelled to seek appropriate legal proceedings as per law, naturally at your cost and consequences, if it is not banned".

To Whom the letter was forwarded?

Ahad's letter was send to seven people including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Vinod tawde (Maharashtra education minister) and Rani Shanker Prasad (Minister of electronics and IT), and 4 others. Ahad didn't get any reply even in the completion of a full week and has decided to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Bombay High Court

Why PUBG Banned is everywhere?

From few weeks a  letter is rotating all the globe in the name of Govt of India, regarding ban of PUBG mobile. Lets have a look on the viral letter.

Topic of the letter is "Reg.Alliance on Ban of Game PUBG". It is written a month ago, and already circulated in the world. No one knows whether the letter is really from high court of Maharashtra, as mentioned or it is a publicity stunt.

OUR OPINION

At last Our Opinion, Till now, There is no Official Information regarding the PUBG banned in India. But yes PUBG creates distraction among the students, thats why Maharashtra being the 3rd state to raise voice against the game, after Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir. Youth finds it difficult to cope up with their timetable especially now in the Exam season. So lets see how many requests will set up to ban online game PUBG, in the future..or it will keep on spreading its wings around the globe.
